Also called True Autumn, your season is warm and sunkissed, like pumpkin pie fresh from the oven and set in the windowsill. You shine best in warm tones that are not too saturated and not too light or dark. Warm Autumns stand out with those crips colors you see in nature during autumn meaning rusts, honey browns, marigolds, olives, warm teals, and mulberries look amazing on you. This season is defined solely by warmth, sitting perfectly in the middle of Value, Saturation, and Contrast. Warm Autumn is the Goldilocks Zone of Fashion, if you will.
Knowing your best colors will help you streamline your shopping trips, trim down your closet, and save you from wasting time wondering why certain outfits don’t look as great on you as on Pinterest. Just follow these simple steps and watch the compliments–and confidence–roll in!

As you can see here, your best colors are warm, not too saturated, but also not too soft. They aren’t too dark or too light either. Their main attribute is warmth. Your worst colors are cool, bright, and oversaturated. If it reminds you of the old Microsoft Paint palette, stay very far away.
Once you understand your season, everything clicks. Your wardrobe feels more cohesive, your makeup routine becomes easier, and your confidence grows. It’s not because you’re trying harder or because you bought your favorite influencer’s €75 lip suction cups (are these really a thing???), but because you’re accentuating your natural features instead of working against them! You can say goodbye to the bright magenta jumper that just wasn’t that into you, we’ve got you covered now.
You can also borrow from your sister season, Warm Spring, but try to stay more on the darker side of these colors.

If you are a Warm Autumn, your eyes are rich with a striking pattern. Your hair is on the darker side, mostly darker honey blondes, auburns, rich browns, deep reds and coppers, and even black. Your skin tone can be any range, from light to dark.

When buying make up, opt for matte and low-shimmer options. Bronzer and contouring look great with your coloring, but don’t go too heavy on the highlighter, as we want to keep shine to a minimum. For blush, reach for coral, peach, and copper–darker skin tones can experiment with red and mulberry blush as well! For lipstick, look for warm pinks like strawberry and raspberry. You can even try a bright red lip (just make sure it’s on the warm side). For eyes, neutral shades or gold are great!
For nail polish, you can pick a color straight from your color pallette! You can even choose from this full color palette here.

As you can see, these celebrities all look radiant in their best colors. The warm gold and honey tones blend right in with their features. Their make up is subtle, and the only shimmer is gold.

We can’t forget jewelry! Because your main attribute is your warmth, your jewelry should reflect that as well. Opt for earthy, sunkissed stones, like light green onxy, amber, rubies, garnets–you get the idea!
For metals, opt for gold, gold, and more gold! Seriously though, you can’t go wrong with an oxidized, darker gold or a rose gold. I am sorry to say that silver is definitely not for you as a warm autumn!
If you don’t already dress in your best colors, or are used to wearing cooler shades and the idea of a whole wardrobe overhaul overwhelms you, you can book a Closet Review, a Shop With Me, or a Shop For Me package and I am happy to assist you! But in the meantime, if you are excited to start wearing your best colors, here are my three tips to get the most out of your wardrobe.

You’ve pulled up Pinterest and just don’t resonate with your colors. You don’t see yourself owning a mulberry overcoat or olive trousers any time soon–that’s fine. Try out a few colors in a sweater or a top with some medium blue jeans and some gold jewelry, and watch the compliments pour in.
If you’re happy and confident in the wardrobe you have now, that’s totally okay. You are not obliged to wear only your best colors all the time! If you want to treat your Best Colors like a secret weapon you pull out for weddings, job interviews, photoshoots, or first dates, that’s great!
If you were ready to embrace your colors but are now having a hard time envisioning yourself wearing them, start with your neutrals (cream & brown) and add one accent color at a time.
When you’re ready to lean deeper into your best colors and choose outfits that also actually work for your body shape and lifestyle, book a Closet Review , a Shop With Me or a Shop For Me session!
